What’s For Dinner Wednesday?

Summer has officially arrived here in the Bay Area and I’m craving sushi now more than ever. A girlfriend and regular dining companion of mine recently announced her pregnancy (Yay!) but alas, it means no more sushi dates for us for the remainder of the year. Of course we can go elsewhere and I can have sushi on my own, but it just got me thinking…

In addition to caffeine and alcohol, women who are pregnant and breastfeeding are advised to avoid/cut back on these foods.  The thought of 9+ months without sushi, brie, prosciutto, and wine — some of my faves! — sounds rough! Which foods did or do you miss most while pregnant?
